People are increasingly “on the move” in our world today! Every year thousands of people relocate, either temporarily or permanently, leaving their homes, families, friends and culture, moving to a place where everything may be unfamiliar, and life is very different. This is a great opportunity for the Christian Church worldwide to reach out in love, offering practical help as well as the message of hope. How do we do this in a way that will be meaningful to our new friends from another culture? We do well to seek to understand their culture, values and worldview in order to express love and acceptance as well as share the message of hope.
